Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a high-risk maternity outpatient clinic, requiring 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience and RDMS (OB/GYN) certification.

Details

• Outpatient Perinatal Diagnostic Program specializing in high-risk and low-risk obstetric and gynecologic imaging
• 6 exam rooms/suites with a daily patient volume of 8-10 patients per sonographer
• Patient population includes all age groups presenting for obstetric and gynecologic care
• Epic (Radiant) EMR system used
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with Fridays ending at 1:00 PM
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience and 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience required
• RDMS Certification (OB/GYN) required
• Fetal Echo Certification preferred but not required
• Epic (Radiant) EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must be comfortable working in a busy maternal-fetal medicine environment

Additional Information

• Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging for both high-risk and low-risk patients
• 3 days of unit orientation provided
• Interview process includes both a Unit Manager interview and an interview with the MFM provider
• Dress code includes gray scrubs, closed-toe non-permeable shoes, minimal jewelry, professional hair/beard grooming, and minimal nail polish with no chipping
• Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening may take up to 14 business days to process
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required, with medical exemption requests allowed via submission of an exemption form or completion of a module if declined
• First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius for consideration
