Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a highly qualified Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician specialized in echocardiography) to provide services at a healthcare facility located in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves performing cardiac ultrasound procedures within a busy medical center setting, supporting diagnostic efforts for a diverse patient population.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDMS) in cardiac sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
    • Current BLS/HCP certification (Red Cross or Military acceptable).
    • Valid licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout the contract duration.
    • One (1) or more years of full-time staff experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a comparable medical center (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center).
    • Two (2) or more years of experience highly preferred.
    • Experience administering Definity is required.
    • Completion of compliance requirements at least 10 days prior to the start date; failure to meet this deadline could result in contract delays or cancellations.
    • Submit a current NURSYS report with the application.
  • Additional Information:
    • Hawaii residents are eligible but will not be offered traveler rates.
    • All compliance documentation must be submitted 10 or more days before the start date.
    • If RN staffing is not needed on their assigned unit, the professional may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter, and is expected to fulfill that role.
