Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echocardiography (Echo) specialist in a local facility. This position involves performing adult and pediatric echocardiograms with a focus on congenital heart disease evaluations. The role requires hands-on experience with pediatric echo protocols and the ability to operate GE echocardiography equipment independently. The schedule features four 10-hour shifts per week, including after-hours call and every other weekend commitments.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10/27/2026 02/23/2027; four days per week, 10 hours per shift, with after-hours call shifts two nights per week from 8pm to 6am with a 60-minute response time.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) with a specialization in echocardiography; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience, including pediatric echocardiography, with hands-on pediatric echo protocols and congenital heart disease evaluations; valid licensure in the relevant state.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE echocardiography systems, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EPIC.
