Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General located in a healthcare facility. The role involves performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, supporting other imaging technologists, and facilitating smooth patient flow. The technologist must be capable of handling ultrasound equipment and demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts and locations as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent; one year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred; basic computer skills required; valid state licensure if in New Mexico; DMS by MIRTP NMEDBLS certification via AHA required; certification required within 1 year of hire: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS; preferred certifications include Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS.

- Additional Information: The technologist will perform examinations, troubleshoot equipment, participate in quality assurance, and adhere to all safety and imaging standards. Flexibility to work across different shifts and sites as required. May need to assist in patient assessment and ensure imaging data is stored correctly in PACS.
