Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician specializing in Echocardiography) in the region. This position involves performing adult echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and contrast studies in an acute care setting. The role requires collaboration with a skilled team utilizing advanced equipment, with a focus on patient care and technical proficiency.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026
  • Certifications, Education, Degree Requirements, Location, and Experience: Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience as an Echo Technician, including at least 6 months in an acute care environment. BLS (Basic Life Support) and RCS (Registered Cardiology Sonographer) certifications are required. Pediatric experience and ability to perform basic neonatal scans are preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, prior experience with Meditech EMR system.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible with scheduling, team-oriented, and patient-focused. The role involves working with GE E95 and Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment, with structured reporting for all procedures.
  • Responsibilities include performing adult echocardiograms (portable inpatient and outpatient), transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and contrast studies, ensuring procedural accuracy and documentation.
  • Unit policies specify the requirement to wear hospital-provided scrubs and participate in on-call duties, which include two nights per week and rotating weekends.
