Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in a diagnostic medical setting. This role involves performing advanced maternal-fetal ultrasound procedures, including detailed anatomical evaluations, fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, and Doppler studies. The position requires assisting radiologists with invasive procedures, analyzing sonography findings, and providing high-quality images and data for interpretation by physicians to support maternal and fetal health diagnostics.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4 days per week with 9-hour shifts and one 4-hour half-day shift on Friday.
- Required Qualifications: Three (3) years of experience performing complex obstetric/gynecologic (ob/gyn) or vascular ultrasound scans. Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent certificate program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB and OB GYN.
- Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include conducting ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, recording anatomical, pathological, and physiological data, assisting with invasive techniques, analyzing findings throughout exams, and recognizing abnormal situations requiring radiologist observation. The position involves advanced diagnostic imaging techniques, transvaginal cervical assessments, and real-time image interpretation to ensure comprehensive maternal-fetal evaluations.
