Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position available in a teaching, Level I Trauma healthcare setting. The role involves performing a variety of general, pediatric, OB, and vascular ultrasound exams in a busy acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality imaging services across inpatient and outpatient departments within a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, with 8 and 10-hour shifts on Thursday and Friday (from 08:00 to 18:30), and 8-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (from 08:00 to 16:30). The position requires a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) with specialties in OB/GYN (OB-GYN), Pediatric (PE), and general sonography; active BLS certification; valid Oregon State license; 1 year of ultrasound experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience, prior community hospital or Level I trauma hospital experience.
  • Float: Float to meet facility needs within scope is expected; refusal may result in contract cancellation.
  • Additional Information: The role covers a range of ultrasound procedures, including fetal anatomical surveys, vascular studies, and biopsies, in a Level I trauma hospital with a total of 554 beds. Scrubs color varies according to unit requirements, and parking is provided free of charge. The position includes orientation hours and compliance documentation prior to start date.
