Ultrasound/Sonographer

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. No weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound/Sonographer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The candidate must be able to work independently without radiologist supervision, performing general, OB, and abdominal ultrasound procedures. The role includes covering for other technicians as needed and floating between two facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound procedures including general, OB, and abdominal ultrasounds.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
  • Coordinate imaging services between MHE Hospital and DIC OP Center.
  • Provide high-quality patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 5 years of ultrasound experience.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Current certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB/GYN.
  • Experience with breast ultrasound is preferred.
