Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist- Conduct various ultrasound exams including OB, pelvic, vascular, ABIs, reflux studies, carotids, and small parts
- Perform patient assessments and prepare for examinations
- Ensure accurate patient records and EMR documentation
- Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently and safely
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- If applicable, perform portable exams on the floor
Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- BLS and ARDMS certifications required; OB certification mandatory for overnight shifts
- Experience with GE machines not required
- Preferred: Experience with EPIC EMR system
