Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms in accordance with departmental protocols and standards of care
• Support inpatient, emergency, and outpatient cardiac imaging workflows as needed
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular imaging equipment and image archiving systems
• Document studies accurately within electronic medical records systems
• Collaborate with cardiology and clinical staff to ensure timely and high-quality imaging results

Required Qualifications

• Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credential through ARDMS, or RCS through CCI required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience performing echocardiograms in an acute-care hospital setting
• Experience with stress echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, or transesophageal echocardiography
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, cardiovascular imaging systems, and image archiving systems
• Additional cardiac imaging credentials or specialty training
