Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
• Demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Document procedures accurately and completely
• Assist performing physicians and sonographers in providing high-quality echocardiographic exams
• Cross-train to other divisions of Cardiovascular Services as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Echo Technologist experience
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow
