Key Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform cardiac imaging studies including M-Mode, 2-D, color flow, and Doppler
• Perform Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), and Stress Echocardiography
• Conduct bubble studies and imaging agent-assisted studies as part of standard cardiac protocols
• Scan patients across all aspects of cardiac sonography in accordance with established organizational and departmental policies and procedures
• Report to the Supervising Cardiac Sonographer and operate within defined scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification required
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or CCI certification required
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer with the ability to work independently from day one
• Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• IV insertion skills
• Familiarity with Lumason as an imaging agent
