Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current license required Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: General ultrasound experience with vascular experience preferred Description: This position requires working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A 30-minute lunch break is included. The role is based in a small hospital outpatient department with an attached minor emergency department. The contract will include rotational on-call duties and holidays as scheduled. Experience in general ultrasound with vascular experience is required. Successful candidates should have prior charge experience, preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with various patient age groups is necessary, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 10 patients. The facility has 2 ultrasound rooms available for use. Interdisciplinary support includes rapid response teams. Experience with multiple imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and contrast media preparation is expected. Candidates must be adaptable to various patient diagnoses and special procedures as needed. Compliance with infection prevention precautions is essential. Transportation to the facility may be necessary. Candidates should have the ability to meet lab requirements in a timely manner. Travel experience is highly preferred for this position.
