Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech- Perform echocardiograms to assess cardiac structures and functions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to interpret diagnostic results
- Maintain equipment and follow patient safety protocols
- Document findings and ensure accurate patient records
Requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer - Echo Tech- Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography
- Certification: RDCS and RVT certified
- BLS certification
- Credential in echocardiography: RDCS from ARDMS, RCS, or RCCS from CCI
- Additional credential: RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RS (ARRT)
