Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography procedures in accordance with department protocols
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including proficiency with Cerner
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and document findings accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure appropriate patient care and timely results
• Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ultrasound/sonography
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care imaging environment
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
