Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in a pediatric healthcare setting. This role involves obtaining diagnostic sonographic images and performing all duties related to imaging such as data management, physician order reconciliation, patient transport, and result accountability. The position requires candidates with experience in a dedicated Pediatric Hospital and/or Pediatric Board Certification, with a focus on providing high-quality imaging services for pediatric patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Friday: Day - 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday: Night - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; Sunday: Night - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, RVT (Registered Vascular Technician) certification, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association (AHA), high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of experience, and completion of one full travel assignment preferred. Candidates should have worked at a dedicated Pediatric Hospital and/or hold Pediatric Board Certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility within the past year if previously employed in any capacity.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have ultrasound experience in pediatric healthcare and possess or be eligible for pediatric-specific certifications. Verification of prior employment with Johns Hopkins facilities is required before offer consideration.
