Job Summary:
This position for Ultrasonographer Echo is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves performing diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures to assist cardiologists in obtaining accurate images and measurements of cardiac structures. The Ultrasonographer Echo will provide rapid feedback on critical results and support complex procedures to help ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; six (6) months of related experience; ability to work independently; critical thinking skills; excellent communication skills with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare staff; ability to serve in on-call rotation after regular hours; certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); current BLS certification.

- Additional Information: The role involves demonstrating correct technique and efficiency in performing advanced cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, including TEE and stress echocardiograms, and assisting with complex procedures such as TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, Lariet procedures, and pseudoaneurysm compression. The candidate will be responsible for proper documentation, equipment management, resource utilization, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies. The position requires collaboration with healthcare team members and participation in quality assurance and departmental accreditation activities to support hospital goals.
