Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician) in Overland Park, Kansas. This position involves performing adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and stress echo procedures in a hospital setting. The role focuses on delivering high-quality imaging to support diagnostics and patient care within a specialized cardiology department.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 12/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and experience with TTE/TEE procedures. No minimum experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric echocardiography (PEDS) experience is a plus.
  • Additional Information: Staff comprises five experienced echocardiographers with 7 to 25 years of experience, along with two new graduates in orientation. The department uses advanced equipment such as the Vivid E95 GE and performs approximately 8 to 9 echoes in a 10-hour shift. The role involves working on adult and pediatric patients, with a rotation for on-call duties every 5-7 days. The unit emphasizes patient experience and maintains specific policies and guidelines to ensure quality care.
