HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia.

Travel Contract – Registered Nurse (Stepdown/Trauma Stepdown)
CAMC General Hospital | Charleston, WV
Unit: 5 South – Trauma Stepdown (IMC/PCU)
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights – 4x12s, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Openings: 2
Weekend: Every other weekend
Compensation
Base Bill Rate: $75/hr
48-hour contract options
Requirements
2 years RN experience required
1 year Stepdown/PCU/IMC/Trauma experience required
WV or Compact RN license required; pending WV license may be submitted
BLS, ACLS, CPI, Fit Test required
TNCC preferred
Cerner experience preferred
Level I Trauma experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted if experienced in ICU/Trauma
Unit & Patient Population
Level I Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
25 Med/Surg Tele Trauma beds
6 Trauma Stepdown beds
6 Pediatric Trauma beds — travelers are not required to care for pediatric patients
Stepdown ratio: 1:3
Floor ratio: 1:5
Adult and geriatric patients
Previous orthopedic/trauma experience preferred
Skills & Experience
Experience with:
Telemetry and dysrhythmia management
IV starts, central lines and PICC management
Chest tubes and wound VACs
Tracheostomy and PEG/feeding tubes
Ventilator management
Trauma and orthopedic patients
TBI and spinal cord injuries
Surgical drains
Rapid response/code team
