Job Details:
**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - Minimum 2 years of RN experience required - 1 year in-specialty experience required - First time travelers accepted if experienced in ICU/Trauma - Previous ortho/trauma experience preferred - WV or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission - Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required - Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler **Required Skills and Certifications:** - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) - CPI and Fit Test required - TNCC preferred - Skill Requirements: IV Start, Vents, Telemetry, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Conscious Sedation - Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Chest tubes, Feeding tube care and management, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Oxygen administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Telemetry, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Ventilator Management - Experience with charting system Cerner preferred **Additional Notes:** - All candidates are required to complete a fit test in advance - Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility (75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis) - Covid Vaccine NOT required - Flu Vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
