Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Comfort working night shift nursing in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Ability to care for post-op transplant, bariatric surgery, telemetry, and general med/surg patients
• Willingness to support step-down level patients when assigned
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Medical/Surgical Telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Care for pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients, bariatric surgery patients, and other med/surg cases
• Support step-down level care when needed based on unit assignment
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities as needed after training and shadowing
