Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio of 1:2. Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed. Half of weekends required during contract.

Highlights:

  • Level I Trauma ICU experience with 14 rooms and 16 beds
  • 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic trauma environment
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Epic charting system utilized for documentation
  • Adult patient population with advanced critical care needs
  • Orientation provided with onsite module completion

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS and TNCC preferred)
  • Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance
  • Preferred skills: ICP monitoring, ventilator management
  • Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
