Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift Med-Surg/Tele/Ortho unit requiring 2 years of acute inpatient tele experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

  • Med-Surg/Tele/Ortho unit with 24 beds
  • Patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
  • Mixed diagnosis patient population
  • Uses Epic and Galaxy Blue charting systems
  • Night shift, 6:45p-7:15a
  • Every other weekend required per unit need
  • 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each

Requirements

  • Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
  • 2 years of acute inpatient tele RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
  • Must be able to read telemetry and titrate heparin
  • Skills in IVs, CPAP, trach care, wound vac, PCA, dialysis fistula, central line care, and feeding tubes required
