Travel RN – Telemetry

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac patients.
• Manage patients following cardiac catheterization (heart cath).
• Perform sheath management.
• Care for patients undergoing electrophysiology (EP) interventions.
• Provide post-procedure care following pacemaker and ICD implantation.
• Perform and monitor cardiac drip titrations.
• Care for patients following cardiac ablations.
• Monitor and manage patients with heart blocks and new-onset dysrhythmias.
• Demonstrate strong critical-thinking and precise clinical skills.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team in a high-acuity environment.

Requirements

• 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
• Strong Telemetry/Cardiac nursing experience.
• Experience with high-acuity cardiac patients.
• Experience with cardiac drips, dysrhythmias, and cardiac procedures preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend required.
• Required holidays will be discussed during the interview.
• 36–48 hour contracts are acceptable.
