Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN for a night shift acute care position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an SD or compact RN license.

Details

• Central Resource Pool covering Med Surg/Telemetry units in an acute care hospital setting
• 3x12-hour night shift schedule
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Provides individualized nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with physicians and other interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Cares for patients across all phases of care including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Navy blue scrubs required
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered
• Candidates with prior Sanford Health employment must have an end date at least 6 months before submission
