American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position at a hospital in Reno, NV, requiring 2 years of specialty experience and an active NV RN license.

Details

Hospital-based position in the Telemetry unit
Night shift schedule
13-week contract assignments with no blocked scheduling allowed
Uses Epic for EMR charting
Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required

Requirements

Active NV RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience required
AHA-issued certifications required
CPI certification required for behavioral/psych patients
Epic EMR experience preferred, with training available during orientation or option to test out

Additional Information

Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
A 13-week break is required for returning travelers before starting a new contract, regardless of prior contract length or extensions
Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application as contract end dates will not be extended to accommodate RTO
First-time travelers may be considered but must apply for state licensure promptly upon offer if they have never held a temporary or permanent license
