Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry nursing or acute care nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiac and pulmonary care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and pulmonary needs
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry rhythms, and promptly escalate changes in condition
• Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:5-6 while collaborating with supportive tech staff
• Administer medications, complete nursing assessments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Support smooth patient flow and contribute to a collaborative hospital unit environment
