Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care, telemetry, or stepdown experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience caring for cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
• Ability to safely titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Comfort working in a fast-paced collaborative healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for cardiac stepdown and IMU patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm strips for assigned patients
• Titrate drips as ordered, including cardiac and vasoactive medications
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as post-MI, post-op vascular, GI bleed, and DKA
• Support patients requiring BiPAP and CPAP
• Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient care
• Float as needed based on unit needs
