Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring CA RN licensure, BSN, and prior cardiac telemetry experience at a teaching hospital.
Details
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
- Telemetry unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Epic charting system experience required
- Float to other facility units or locations as needed based on qualifications
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BSN required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required for first-time travelers
- Telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and MS/Tele experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required and must be documented in employment history
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references from most recent employer required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response on a telemetry unit
- ER Holding and community hospital experience preferred
- Prior Charge RN experience preferred
- First-time travelers considered if they have a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Must have traveled within the past 12 months unless meeting the first-time traveler exception
- COVID vaccination and booster required with proof prior to start, no exceptions
- Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or acquired facilities must be disclosed with dates, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Floating may occur to other departments, units, or facilities within a 75+ mile radius
- All RTO must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager prior to offer, with no additional requests accepted mid-contract
- RTO is not permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment
