Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring KS or compact RN license and at least one year of telemetry experience in a hospital setting.

Details

  • General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
  • Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
  • 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Occasional floating to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients

Requirements

  • Active KS or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting required

Additional Information

  • Facility is a nicotine-free environment
  • Must attend in-person orientation (NEO and DON training) plus virtual EPIC training during the first week
  • Holiday coverage required based on unit needs, with two major holidays worked from a choice of Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Eve/Day
  • Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
