• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

• Float Expectation: May float between observation and ED boarding areas as needed
• Scheduling Notes: Potential block scheduling may be accommodated but is not guaranteed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Kentucky RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• At least 1.5 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath care and managing ports required
• Strong background supporting adult telemetry and observation patients
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed
• Professional, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult telemetry and observation patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support ED boarders requiring inpatient-level care while awaiting placement
• Float to observation and med/tele areas based on unit needs
• Perform common telemetry nursing skills, including port care, IV therapy, oxygen support, and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe patient outcomes
• Maintain a calm, professional, and patient-focused presence in a fast-paced clinical environment
