Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital / Telemetry Unit
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Completion of at least 1 travel assignment required.
- Active Michigan RN license; license verification through LARA and Nursys required.
- BLS certification required.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and cardiac activity using telemetry equipment.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Promote patient- and family-centered care while maintaining professional nursing standards.
