- Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Not required
- Float Requirement: May float between units as needed
- Charting System: Epic required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Compact RN license required at submission, if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- Neuroscience or neuro telemetry experience required
- Experience with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS and BLS required
- Epic experience is a hard stop requirement
- Comfort caring for post-surgical neurology patients and other neurological diagnoses
- Ability to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for neuroscience and telemetry patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for post-operative neurology patients
- Support patients with a variety of neurological and cerebrovascular diagnoses
- Perform ongoing neurological assessments, including NIHSS evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate safe, effective patient care
- Document patient care accurately in Epic
- Adapt to unit needs and provide support across nearby sister units when required
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment
