Contract | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotating Shifts (Days: 7a–7p, 11a–11p, and 7p–7a rotation) | Every Other Weekend | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit serving cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, GU, and GI patient populations
• Interpret telemetry strips and manage cardiac drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Utilize TR Bands and administer Hi-Flow Oxygen as clinically indicated
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4/5 on days and 1:5/6 on evenings and nights
• Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Float to applicable units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
• AHA-certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a single facility setting
• Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR charting system
• Experience managing diverse patient populations including psychiatric and substance use disorder patients
