Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of Tele/Med Surg experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY State or Compact) required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• At least 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response care to telemetry patients
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias as part of daily patient care
• Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
• Required to work 3 out of 5 winter holidays
• Returning staff must have been away from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration, as requests submitted afterward will not be approved
