Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Telemetry nursing or medical-surgical experience preferred
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients preferred
• Strong understanding of dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Comfort working night shifts, weekends, and floating as needed
• Travel nurses must meet the 50-mile radius guideline

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a med-surg setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document accurately in Epic
• Support patients with isolation precautions, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote coordinated patient care
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and unit standards throughout the shift
• Provide dependable night-shift coverage while adapting to a fast-paced acute care environment
