Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.
Job Description & Requirements

RN Telemetry
Shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
Certification: BLS, ACLS required, NIH stroke scale certification required.
Must have: Ability to care for 6 Telemetry patients/ post cardiac procedures to include: PCI, PPM, ICD or Ablations. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments. Discharge planning and patient education.
Advanced skills needed:
· Phlebotomy
· Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments: inhalers and nebulizers)
· Foley Catheter care and maintenance (with nurse driven protocols for removal)
· Telemetry and Post Cath Lab patients
· Management of Cardiac Drips (Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine)
