Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Telemetry unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled nurses looking to make a difference in patient care while enjoying the vibrant community of Wichita, KS.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 17
  • Number of Staff: 12
  • Day Shift: 3-4 RNs and 2 Patient Care Techs
  • Night Shift: 3-4 RNs and 2 Patient Care Techs
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
  • Type of Equipment: PCA Pumps; IV pumps; Chest Tubes
  • EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have: Minimum 1-year current Telemetry hospital experience, BLS & ACLS
  • Preferred: Experience in large trauma facilities, prior Meditech experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

  • Central lines
  • Medication drips
  • Heart Cath recovery
  • Bubble studies

Best Personality Fit: Positive attitude, engaged, independent, and strong critical thinking skills.
