Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Telemetry experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med Surg unit with PCU
• Day shift, 7A-7P schedule
• Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter per shift
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• Unit uses GE Telemetry monitoring system
• EMR is Meditech
• Typical procedures include IV and foley starts and chest tube removal

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
• Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
