Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift contract requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 3 years of telemetry experience.

Details

  • Telemetry unit in a hospital setting located in Naperville, IL
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • First to float among staff
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active IL Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
  • Two current professional references required from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge nurse in the relevant specialty within the last year
  • A travel reference is preferred

Additional Information

  • Must work Thanksgiving Day and the Saturday following Thanksgiving
  • Orientation includes 24 hours total, with 12 hours non-billable across two 12-hour shifts
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been away for 12 months before being submitted as a traveler
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts
  • Candidates will have a brief hospital interview, typically 10-15 minutes
