Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry/Neurology – Spokane, WA 99204
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Spokane, Washington
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required. Floating between units as needed to meet staffing needs. Patient ratio 1:4. Assignment duration of 13 weeks.

- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 629 staffed beds, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Designated stroke unit with Thrombectomy Capable JCAHO designation and Spine Center of Excellence
- NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
- Epic charting system with 36-40 hours of paid orientation

- Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a 48-bed neuroscience unit
Requirements:
- Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of neurology RN experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Proficiency with NIH stroke scale and post-surgical neurology patient care
- Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, craniotomy, and neuro stepdown care
- Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, procedural sedation, and pre/post neurosurgery care
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
