Located 45 miles east of Raleigh, it is just 2 hours from the beautiful coast of North Carolina and 1 hour from major universities such as Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University. Enjoy a quick 15-minute drive to Lake Wilson for some relaxation during your off time.

**Unit Profile**

• Floor: Telemetry
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: 12 hours (Every other or Every Third weekend)
• Call Requirements: No

**Position Information**

• Required Certifications: BLS/ACLS
• Years of Experience: 1.5+
• Float Requirements: Yes

**Unit Information**

• Number of Beds: 22
• Patient Ratios: 5:1 or 6:1
• Equipment: Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer Lift w/ weight scale, Abbott Glucometer, Computers on Wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps
• EHR: Meditech EMR
• Supervisor: Clinical Staff Lead or Charge Nurse
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric

**Hiring Profile**

• Must Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills are a plus.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Manage discharges and admissions, basic cardiac drip knowledge.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, Uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, Post Cardiac Cath care.
• Personality Fit: Team-oriented and flexible.
• Required Education: Associate degree, BSN preferred.
