Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30, Sunday-Saturday coverage
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management skills required
• Experience with cardiac drip management required
• Experience with sheath removal and TR Band required
• Minimum one year of acute care experience required
• Minimum one year of specialty experience within the past two years required

Additional Information

• Provide cardiac telemetry nursing care including monitoring for dysrhythmias and use of rapid response/code teams
• Manage patients with pacemakers, post cardiac catheterization, and TAVR procedures
• No first-time travelers considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted
• Previous UC Irvine or UCSD employees must disclose this at time of consideration and receive facility approval prior to assignment
• RTO must be finalized prior to consideration and cannot be changed afterward
• At least one supervisory or manager reference from within the last year required from the specific unit
