Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Recent experience with Epic charting required
• Strong telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and acute care nursing skills
• Ability to work night shifts while maintaining excellent patient flow and safety

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult telemetry patients recovering from cardiac procedures and interventions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including blood products and insulin protocols
• Care for patients with cardiac surgery, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac-related conditions
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway support, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and activate rapid response resources when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold unit standards
