Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) in a general location. This position involves providing care for cardiac medical and surgical patients, including post-procedural cath lab patients and post cardiac surgery patients. The role requires recent experience in a busy hospital environment, with responsibilities such as managing titratable drips and reading telemetry strips.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association); minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital setting, including experience with post-procedural cath lab patients and management of chest pain and cardiac surgical patients.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, dayshift, 48 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027.
- Additional Responsibilities: Management of TR band compression devices, titrating drips such as Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, Dobutamine; reading telemetry strips; using a 24/7 central telemetry system.
- Unit Details: Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:4 days through 11:00 PM; 1:5-6 after 11:00 PM. RT staff available 24/7 for nebulizers, inhalers, CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm. No scrub uniforms provided; scrubs not required.
- Orientation: One shift of HR onboarding and one shift on the unit.
- Additional Notes: Float is required as needed based on census. Clinicians must have no prior work with Marshfield in the last six months to be considered.
