Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position based in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to cardiac patients, including post-procedure and surgical patients, on evening shifts. The position requires experience in managing cardiac monitorings, titrating IV drips, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The assignment includes at least 48 hours per week with options for 36-hour schedules.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association) certifications, and a minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in a busy hospital environment, with experience in post procedural cath lab patients, management of TR band compression devices, chest pain, and post cardiac surgical care.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading telemetry strips, managing titratable IV drips such as Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, Dobutamine, and familiarity with central telemetry monitoring.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit census.
  • Additional Information:
    • Candidates must have recent hospital RN experience with a strong focus on cardiac patient care.
    • Must have worked previously within the last 6 months for the organization if previously employed there.
    • No scrub provision; no specific scrub color required.
    • Orientation includes one shift of HR onboarding and one shift on the unit.
    • No on-site call or standby requirements.
    • Shift rotations and scheduling are not self-scheduled. Weekend, holiday, and alternating holiday requirements are in place.
