Job Details

  • Shift Schedule: 12-hour days, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS certification, COVID Vaccine, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring GE Apex Telemetry boxes, interpreting ECG strips, and providing care to a caseload of up to 22 patients requiring complex neurological assessments.
  • The unit maintains a focus on bedside shift reports, patient satisfaction, and adherence to stroke and core measures.
  • Floating to Intensive Medical Care Unit (IMCU) or Medical/Surgical departments is required.
  • Orientation includes a one-shift training, and scrubs are provided in navy.
