Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Telemetry. This position provides quality nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation while supporting patient- and family-centered care. The Registered Nurse collaborates with the healthcare team, coordinates nursing activities, and maintains professional practice standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; completion of at least one travel assignment; Michigan nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and experience with an electronic medical record system.
- Responsibilities: Assess patients physical, psychosocial, and educational needs; plan and implement nursing care; provide appropriate interventions; evaluate patient responses; coordinate and delegate care activities; and maintain responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, the care environment, and professional development.
- Additional Information: A strict three-strike attendance policy applies. Repeated absences from scheduled shifts or arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in immediate termination, subject to review of documented medical circumstances.
