Telemetry (TELE) RN Night Shift Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a telemetry unit, focusing on medical oncology and overflow medical surgical patients. The position requires clinical expertise in monitoring and titrating drips, working within a new department opening in December, with responsibilities including patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
Job Details
- Certifications & Education: BLS (AHA); a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of clinical experience; experience or skills with handling comfort care medicated drips (Narcotics and Benzodiazepines), Heparin, and Cardizem up to 10ml/hr.
- Additional Responsibilities: Telemetry RN will read strips subject to approval, administer titratable and set-rate drips, and support a unit with new operations starting in December.
- Floating: Floating may be required to like departments based on unit needs.
- Charting System: EPIC experience is required.
- Notes: The department will operate as a new facility with a focus on acute care, and shifts are nights with a weekend requirement variable based on unit demands.
