Job Summary
Telemetry (RN) Nights Near the specified location. This position is for a telemetry registered nurse with at least one year of tele experience. The role involves working on a heavy neuro unit, providing care to post-surgical neuro patients, and being willing to float between units as needed. The schedule involves night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state or a valid compact license, at least 1 year of tele experience, and familiarity with the NIH Stroke Scale. Proficient in caring for post-surgical neuro patients and comfortable with Neuro Stepdown units. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS. Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, spinal cord injuries, telemetry, traumatic brain injuries, and neuro patient care. Prior experience with Epic charting system is required.

  • Additional Information: The position is on a designated stroke unit with JCAHO designation as thrombectomy capable. The unit also holds a Spine Center of Excellence (JCAHO) designation and is a NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center. Candidates must be willing to work three of the five major holidays and adhere to scheduling and RTO requests made during submission. Candidates must have a valid state license, with a preference for a compact license, and meet the local radius requirement of 50 miles. Credentialing and compliance requirements include providing two recent references covering 1 year of employment during the last three years, and responses to specific screening questions regarding prior employment at the facility.
